Please Take a moment to Complete the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Survey

Dear School Nurse,
We are reaching out to invite you to participate in an educational opportunity at Connecticut Children’s.
We are implementing a survey study with an educational video to learn more about the perspectives,
experiences, and knowledge of nurses in caring for students with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) in
Connecticut’s schools.
The educational opportunity consists of a brief online survey that will take less than 10 minutes to
complete. We are also pilot testing an online educational module to provide more information about
IBD, so the study includes a 15 minute online educational video and concludes with a short follow up
survey that should take less than 15 minutes to complete. Participants will receive a $5 gift card as a
small token of appreciation for your time.

This study will help us better understand what school nurses experience in caring for students with IBD,
provide an opportunity for nurses to learn more about IBD, and help formulate additional
recommendations on how to improve caring for students with IBD in the school setting.
