Connecticut Children's School Nurse Survey - PLEASE PARTICIPATE!

Posted about 1 year ago

Dear School Nurse,

Connecticut Children’s is reaching out to you to ask you to participate in a study to learn more about the experiences of nurses with managing behavioral health concerns in Connecticut’s schools. The study consists of an online survey. The survey is brief and will take you less than 15 minutes to complete.

To participate click here or copy and paste this link into your browser

Clicking the link will bring you to a brief description of the study and an eligibility screener based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. If you are eligible you will be directed to the survey questions. A statement will clearly say that “By completing this survey and hitting submit you consent to participating in this research, however this consent does not limit your ability to withdraw your consent later.”

This study will help us to better understand what school nurses encounter in their practice, give school nurses an opportunity to identify ways to improve the system, and provide enough information for the formulation of recommendations on how to improve behavioral health services for children in the school setting.

Please forward this invitation to any other school nurses that might be interested in participating in this survey.

This study has been reviewed by the IRB at Connecticut Children’s. Please direct any questions about the study to Kevin Borrup, Executive Director, Injury Prevention Center at Connecticut Children’s, 860-837-5309.
